Workplace injuries happen to many people at some stage of their working lives.

Coping with an injury can be a traumatic experience. Receiving just and adequate compensation may not necessarily remove the pain but it can help you to get on with the rest of your life.

Victorian workers other than those employed by the Commonwealth Government, who are injured within the workplace are covered by the State’s workers compensation scheme WorkCover.

If you want to know more about the WorkCover system, download Stringer Clark’s simple guide to understanding the WorkCover system. It details who is eligible to receive WorkCover, the changes to legislation that affect workers' rights, a checklist for making a claim and the processes involved to make a claim.
